Trainer
I am the co-founder of the Toronto Centre for Psychodrama, and was part of a team that developed a comprehensive training program leading to certification in Toronto and preparing trainees for the examinations of the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.
Psychodrama on the Prairies
More then 10 years ago I was invited to bring psychodrama training to Saskatchewan. I travel to the prairies several times a year to lead workshops, to offer training workshops and to support the responsible use of psychodrama in the province. I give training credit for participation in my workshops.
Trainer with Pastoral Caregivers
For the last few years I have been a visiting trainer with the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care, Saskatchewan Region. I have directed a number of bibliodramas, including a special workshop in conjunction with their annual meeting. Also, as a part of their Clinical Pastoral Education units in Saskatoon and in Regina, my one day seminars provide experiential learning workshops specifically designed to enhance the intensive training programs.
Internationally I have led these workshops:
- Webinar presented by the Ontario Society of Psychotherepists in April 2014: Where Are We? Roadmaps to Ground Clients and Therapists in the Landscape of Change
- British Psychodrama Conference, Dublin, June 2013 I presented a two-day pre-conference workshop and a conference workshop
- British Psychodrama Association, two workshops at the annual conference in Cirencester, England
- Training weekends in Israel and Istanbul and England
- Week-long training in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with Chrysalis, an NGO
- Three workshops on Psychodrama, sociodrama and Women’s Empowerment in Bangladesh
- Two workshops in the maritime provinces, one in Fredericton New Brunswick and one in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Training Credits toward Certification
As a TEP I give training credits for participation in my workshops. The Action Manual serves as an excellent text for psychodrama and sociometry in preparing for the American Board of Examiners certification examinations.
